My Fangirling Life ~

          WaT (Wentz and Teppei) is Japanese pop singer duo consisting of Eiji Wentz and Teppei Koike. Wentz and Teppei formed a duo in 2002, but at the time formed, they still have no name.
          Every Sunday, since the Golden Week in 2002, they both play music at the roadside area Yoyogi Park, Tokyo. When singing in a side street in December 2003, they attracted the attention of more than a thousand people in the audience. The show had to be stopped because of increasingly crowded audience.
          After releasing an independent single, "Sotsugyō Time" on February 18, 2004, they start to make a show in the record store and a school party. In May 2005, doing live shows named WaT Entertainment Show Vol.1 forwarded by the show Vol. 2, Vol. 3, and so on.
          After receiving bids from 11 companies recording, WaT eventually contracted by Universal Music in 2005.
          WaT had been asked to become performers in the New Year's Eve music show Kōhaku NHK Uta Gassen, December 31, 2005 and 2006.
